Offbeat Olomouc is a cycle tour ringing the edge of the old town through the inner suburbs. Most visitors to Olomouc have no idea that the suburbs hold such interesting stories...

Duration - 2hours for the basic part of the tour. Price - 350Kc including bicycle hire. Difficulty - the cycling is at a gentle pace across mostly flat ground, but there are some cobblestones and participants should assess their own level of fitness before reserving the tour.
Due to the finite number of cycles, please reserve this tour ahead if at all possible. Tour begins at Sokolska 1 (this is where the bicycles are stored). Bicycle fitting from 3.30pm for a 4pm start to the tour.

- Hradisko Monastery
- Cech gardens and Bozena Nemcova (she's on your 500Kc notes)
- The Russian monument
- The parkside mansions
- Smetana gardens and the glasshouses of the botanic gardens
- Mill channel and the Morava River
- Communist party headquarters (now the law faculty of the university)
- The old Fortress walls
